Closer Than You Think

In Joshua chapter 3 God tells Joshua to get the people together. It was time to cross the Jordan. The water was swirling, bubbling, and raging in flood season. Many times in life we find ourselves in situations like this. In places where we don't know what to do. Where our success looks impossible. Overwhelming situations.

The cool thing about these situations is that God does not send us alone. When God told Joshua to lead the people into the promised land He told Joshua to send the Ark first. The Ark is symbolic of the presence of God. The Ark is where God hovered. It carried His blessing. It carried His power.

God wants us to invoke His presence into our impossible situations. He not only went ahead of the Israelite's, He was among them. He was with them.

God will go before you. He will stand with you. He will provide for you!

Don't go it alone. God will be with you!
